FARM & RANCH INSURANCE

For the land.
The work.
The next season.

Your farm changes throughout the year. A careful insurance review can help keep your buildings, equipment, inventory and liability questions in view.

Let’s talk about your coverage

OPERATIONS ARE NOT ALL ALIKE

Agriculture deserves
a thoughtful review.

Commercial growers. Nurseries. Hay and crop farms. Livestock and equine operations.

We’ll talk about what you grow, raise, store and sell; who works on or visits your property; and how the business is changing. Those details help guide the coverage conversation.

WHAT WE CAN LOOK AT

The details
behind the limits.

Bring your current policies and building schedule, if you have them. We can start by identifying the questions that deserve attention.

Buildings & rebuilding costs

Review building size, construction, use and current rebuilding estimates for farm buildings, large commercial structures and specialty barns alongside policy valuation terms. A sale price or loan balance can differ from rebuilding cost.

Machinery limits

Review equipment schedules, current values and how machinery is used. Include tools, supplies and equipment that may be easy to overlook.

Seasonal inventory

Discuss eligible stored hay and harvested-crop values month to month, where carrier-approved seasonal limits or schedules are available.

Liability & operations

Discuss animals, visitors, boarding, sales, deliveries and business activities, along with any questions about the relationship between your farm and personal coverage.

BALANCE MATTERS

A higher limit isn’t always
a better answer.

My goal is to help identify potential shortfalls and unnecessary limits. We’ll review the valuation basis, deductibles, coverage conditions and available options, rather than looking at an insured amount alone.

A limit review is an estimate, not a guarantee of rebuilding cost, premium savings or claim payment. Inventory changes require carrier approval and an agreed effective date. Stored-inventory coverage is separate from growing-crop yield or revenue insurance.
